thanks for that list crazyhawk...i think its the ignition system.
tested for spark on cyl. #2 and nothing. its not the coil and its not the spark plug...wiring harness plugs right into the coils so what else is there?

thx for tryin to help man.
#2 just doesnt run at all...i tested for spark and no spark. coil and plug both worked in other cylinders. plug doesnt come out with oil on it. at TDC, it doesnt look like anything is leakin on the piston, but still doesnt mean its not happenin. ignition coil connection looks fine...i cant figure it out so i gotta dish out 150 bucks for a shop to tell me whats wrong...i'll try n remember to post up the problem. its got a few other people scratchin their heads too.

Make sure you you have fire at that plug. You can buy a hand held spark tester for quick checks at the local parts store. It looks like an ink pin and you hold it against the plug wire or you can hold it on top of some coil on plug systems. If you have spark next check for fuel. Try to listen to the fuel injector when the engine is running. If it clicks you know the injector is at least trying to work. You could have a plugged injector or bad injector. Good luck.
