So i have a a3 tdi 1.9 that sometimes just looses all power, i just sounds like the engine turns off, but it just goes to idle i think. the weird thing is that nothing happens if i push down the clutch, but if i push down the clutch and pull the stick out of gear and then in to gear again it just wakes up again like nothing happend. i always need to pull it out and in to gear to solve the problem. Does anyone know what could be wrong? sometimes this happens a few times in a row as soon as i push it, and sometimes i can drive it like its stolen with no problems.

 

I understand you friend. Before switching to Audi, I drove a retro Ford with a 2.5-liter engine. I had similar problems, just slowed down but only on a cold engine. As soon as the temperature rose to the working level, everything was fine. What gasoline do you drive?🚘
