Greetings all, new to the forum

I have a 2007 a3 with navigation plus MMI - currently have a factory standard iPod dock in the glove box but just looking to add/swap it for a simple aux. in - is there any way of doing this? I've found a number of adaptor options online but am getting mixed information - some folks saying that it is impossible for an A3 to have MMI, only Navigation Plus.

I was wondering whether this would do the trick but am not clear where this connects to?

Not sure if its got a fiber attachment in the back as its a good few years old now, otherwise this might do the trick?
