Default A4 going through the oil

Hi guys, need some help. First, I know that Audi's like oil, this is my third A4. Currently I own a 2009 A4 2.0T with 57K. Lately I've noticed the car is really starting to go through the oil. Most of my driving is local and low speeds. The reason I put that in there is I just did a 500 mile trip at a nice clip and didn't notice any oil drop to or from my destination. I've checked for a leak and also the smell of oil burning from the tailpipe. I didn't find anything. What could be the issue? I've heard perhaps bad rings or the "oil separator PCV valve assembly." Since its out of warranty I thought I would try here. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Head gasket? Can you see where there might be oil build up on the engine?
