A4 headlight bulbs
Hey guys,
I'm just wondering which headlight bulbs to use to get the HID/white/blue look.
I tried installing the Sylvania Cool Blue halogen bulbs, but the result wasn't as good as I expected.
I have an '01 A4, so I think the headlight cover/glass prevents it from shining the blue/white color.
Any idea which bulbs to use?
Also, has anyone done a real HID conversion to their B5?

i did a 5000K HID conversion on my B5 and it is very simple to do. I got the kit off ebay for a couple hundred dollars which came with everything. All you have to do is drill a hole in the back of your bulb cover on the back of the light, insert the rubber grommet and wires through the hole, hook up the harness (it plugs into the factory headlight harness) and mount the ballast on something nearby then your basically done. You might have to adjust your lights a little but thats no big deal.
