Default A4 starting problems

I'm really hoping someone can help me,

I'm the proud owner of a 2002 A4, 4 cylinder, 1.8L, FWD, 5 speed. It has 123,000 miles (done a couple cross country trips to school) and I've been having this trouble for a while. It seems that whenever it gets a little cold out, she doesn't like to start. Then once it warms up outside it'll start right up. I've taken it in to get checked out and no one can seem to find the problem. Anyone have any idea what it could be?

Another thing it did right before it didn't start yesterday was the day before when I was driving it, I turned on the hot air and nothing was coming out of the vents. However once I turned the air back to cold, everything worked fine. When the heat was on, I could hear it blowing from within the dash but still felt nothing out of the vents. Maybe this is related to it not starting, maybe it's another problem I'll have to deal with, but if someone, anyone could shed some light on my predicament, I would be truly grateful. Happy driving.

-Karl.

Also to add, I just replaced the clutch pedal switch twice so i know that's not the problem.
