Default A6 - 98 2.8 Flywheel carcking

Hello All;
I got A6 1998 2.8 .
6 months back the following problems reported:
1) Gear was delaying so much between 3-4 and 4-5.
2) I heared a clicking sound between the engin-gear.
3) Car Water Tempreture will go above 90 if it stop for a while.
After checking they found the Convertor not ok and the flywheel cracked in three locations.
They fixed the convertor and replaced the flywheel with a used one and replaced the Thermostat. And the car came out ok.
1 week back, the Tempreture issue came up and the sound came back; they tested it and found the FLywheel cracked again .
Any Help on what is causing this Flywheel issue to reappear.
The Mech Eng ( X-audi workshop supervisor)told me that he never such setuation happening .

Most commonly the flywheel crackes when it is installed improperly. The spacing between the holes is slightly different, so it should only go in one way. If your not carefull its posible to but it on the wrong way. Also make sure there are dowl pins in the engine block. If not the trans can shift causing the flexplate to break. The other possiblitly is the torque converter wasnt seated all the way during installation. That can cause a flexplate to crack.

For the overheating, make sure the fans are working properly. The mechanical fan should not spin freelly if stopped when the engine is hot. Also make sure the electircal fan kicks on.
