Default A6 Engine Trembling

Hi all!

First time posting on these forums.

I'm looking for help with my car. I have an audi 2007 A6 2.0 TDI S-line. Its manual with 124k miles.

I've owned this car from 30k miles and loved it like a child and anything it needed done, was done.

Recently though, the engine when sitting idle, has started trembling. It shakes so hard that it rocks the rpm needle!

It doesn't do it all the time, but i've noticed that when its happening turning the air con off seems to make it worse! Don't know if thats another problem or is all one.

I have complained about it to my audi dealer, they scanned it and found no error codes.

I have recently had it serviced and had a new flywheel and clutch fitted in the hopes it would solve the problem but it doesn't seem to have affected it. Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks!

Usually a shaking engine is either misfiring or idling too slow. Your dealer should have no problem fixing it. Whose idea was to chage the clutch and flywheel? lol

Default interesting!!!

Just come across your thread and this issue is ringing all too familiar with me. I funnily enough have exactly the same issue with my a6 '07 2.0tdi and was wondering whether you had managed to rectify your issue. My audi main dealer has stated that it may be the injector seals that need replacing. I'm really not convinced and would be very grateful if you could share your thoughts on this.

Thanks
