have an issue w/ A6 3.0l avant quattro 5-speed auto...around 2900rpm am experiencing a sudden jump in rpm to 3100...feels like a downshift, but happens in trip as well. Any ideas? anyone else?

Is it happening with speed around 80-70km.
if yes then this is normal as Audi Tech advised me.
this will be due to gear shifting from 4th to 3rd.
