Have recently purchased a 1998 Audi A4 SE. The radio, when I first purchased it was perminently on. Spoke to garage and they've "fixied it"! to cut a long story short now every time I turn the vehicle off and remove the key from the ignition, the radio resets back to its factory settings! I know its not the radio as I have purchased a second and it is doing the same thing! The car its self is fantastic, it's one of a few cars I have owned which I enjoy to drive. Could it be an earthing problem or an "easy Fix"?

 

Have managed to sort the problem, it was a case of rewiring the yellow and red cables, so that the radio keeps it memory. Would like to thank all of you who replied to my post, much appreciated!!
