Default Air Bag Light

Anyone have an idea how to disconnect this? The airbags test fine but the light on the dash is always lit. I really have no interest in getting a new cancel ring. Thanks

I just got my airbag light off today, was a little yellow $20 part under the driver seat... wires were cracked.

I was able to have the light cancelled by having the code cleared with the computer. The code said the passenger seat side air bag sensor was showing trouble. The light comes back on once and a while and my mechanic resets it. Hope I never have to find out what's really wrong. The ealer cost to replace is over $300.

with air bags its either fix the problem or remove the bulb and the wire under the seat is the most common problem due to cleaning ( it snags the wire and pulls it off ) so to rest is fix the wire and remove the ground wire only from the battery this will reset the system

Find out what the code is, & fix it.
