Default Alarm problems

So I have had the worse time with my alarm system. It will go off for no reason even when the car is unlocked? It will go off for about 2 minutes and then cut off...and then start going off again...IT NEVER STOPS!! I have searched the forum and read everyone elses suggestions but I am just tired of fooling with it! If I unhook the ground will my car still start? My dealership told me it may not start. PLEASE HELP!

What car is this? Depending on that, you can unplug the fuse. Or heck, cut the wires to the lovely alarm horn. Disclaimer: In some cars, alarm sound is same as horn. You can't really do much harm as it is just two wires and they can simply be crimped back.

Happened to me once, I went inside my house and had someone else in the car, locked it, and they tried to get out of the car and set the alarm off, I came back, used the key to unlock the car and the alarm was still going off, so I started it and drove, and the alarm was going off as I was driving down the street. Using the keyless entry unlock/panic/lock buttons was what worked for me. Can't guess any further without knowing what kind of car...
