I'm looking at a 99 A4 Quattro. All of the engine lights are on.. break, check engine, low fuel... everything. It was plugged up at the local Audi dealer, (we test drove it to there) we know the mechanic on a personal level and he said there wasnt a thing showing up. The Triptronic doesnt redgister either. Does anyone know what this could be before I make my decision whether to buy it or not?

If the mechanic scanned the car and there wasnt any codes then i would bet it is a instrument cluster problem. With out seeing the cars condition i couldnt tell you if you should be, but these cars can be money pits if the previous owner didnt do any up keep.
