Alternator compatibility
I found an alternator from an 2005 A6 4.2 and two pictures of it are attached. Will it work with a 2012 A8L whose alternator's part number is 079903015Q? The part number on the A6 alternator says 079903015, without the "Q".
Does anyone know if the alternator is compatible?
