Default A7 and a dog compatibility

Hi Guys,

My first post in this forum! I hope you don't mind me starting it with a question.

I just bought a 2011 a7 which i will pick up in 2 weeks. Excitement is killing me. When i ordered it i didn’t really think about where my dog would go in the car, the interior is beautiful and i don't really want him sitting on the leather seats.

Do you know if it is possible to remove the parcel shelf so if he goes in the boot he can see out and be comfortable? He is a cocker spaniel so quite small. He is like a family member so would rather sit him in the car with a seat cover than him be unhappy in the boot.

any advice would be appreciated

Thanks guys!

chris

Congrats on your new A7. I have purchased a seat cover made by Audi that fits on the back seat . I have also purchased a tether for the dog that snaps into the middle seat belt anchor. My dog can then go to either side and not be afraid of being thrown should I stop hurriedly. Halp

The rear shelf/cargo cover is easily removable if needed.
