Antenna

I want to replace my antenna with one of those short aluminum replacements. Would it be just cosmetic and ruin reception or does it atually still work as an antenna? TIA

It's a 99, the stock antenna is about 17 1/2", the aluminum replacements run about 4 1/2".

may not get the same great reception that the stock gets but should still be good

or you go always go with satelite radio and worry about no antenna
