I removed the rear view mirror on my 2009 A6 to tap into the wiring to connect a radar detector. Now I can't get it back on. Won't snap back in place. Any tips?

 

I hope you fgot this figured out by now. Just in case - line up the mirror base and turn about 30 degrees to the left. Push it in and then twist into place.

I'm trying to wire a radar detector as well. Can you tell me which color wire is power and which is ground?
