Default Audi 012 gearbox flanges

Hi Guys
I have a kit car in which I am using an Audi V8 (3.7 AEW) and an 012 diesel gearbox. Due to an engine change I have replaced the gearbox with another 012 but this one has 130mm diameter drive flanges as opposed to my original gearboxes 108mmm flanges.
This is a real pain as the drive shaft adapters don't fit anymore (I am using ford drive shafts and running gear).

Can I swap the flanges over? I had one flange pop out of the old gearbox, but I couldn't get it back in, reading this forum you jack the flange out of the transaxle by using bolts and a bar behind the flange. How do you get them back in again?

I really would welcome your expert advice!!

Kind regards
Nick

Bump... Please guys!
I also need to know which port is the in, and which port is the out on the oil flow. I am using a remote filter and cooler on my 3.7 and I dont know what hole comes from the oil pump.

Did you manage to swap the flanges? I'm facing a similar problem. But my problem is that I need to go from 108mm to 130mm.

no mate, they are totally different, iirc the shaft it completely a different diameter. I ended up making bigger diameter adapters.
