I don't know **** about cars and I know blow off valves make a car sound beautiful ....

Please excuse my dumbassness

But can I put a blow off valve on my Audi a4 3.0 auto/tip . Or is it only for turbos ?
I have an exhaust on it . And any suggestions for intake ?

 

Blow Off Valves relieve the damaging effects of turbo surge by allowing excess compressed air to vent to the atmosphere when the psi limit is reached(hissing sound). No turbo=No BOV

I think the factory intake only becomes a restriction around 300+hp. You are nowhere near that with only an exhaust on it. The only thing an aftermarket intake will do for you at this point is make a loud sucking noise under heavy acceleration.

 

Is this good when I get my 1.8t

 

A 1.8T will have a blow-off valve, although the hissing sound will not be very loud. To get the sound like you see in the movies, you have to be running higher boost.
