Hi Guys,

New to this forum so go easy on me. On top of being a rookie I know very little about cars

Anyway I would like to learn more with some help please. I usually just leave my car into my local dealer to service, but its expensive and I would prefer to do a few small jobs by myself.

At present the car is sluggish when I put my foot down on the accelerator especially in the higher gears....there is not the same turbo pickup as usual.

Its near a service 5000km so do I just leave it in to them or can I do something about it myself.

Also I broke the drivers window electrics. During a hard frost I went to open the window and the small motor in the window made a snaping sound and that was that.

Now it wont work and there is a grating sound but no movement when I press the button. Where can I get parts to fix this and is it easy to do?

All suggestions greatly appreciated as I need to know more about my car, so warts and all info is welcome.............
