Default Audi A4 B5 Vibration issues!

Hi everyone.

I'm knew to this forum so I'm not sure if this post is in the correct section. sry.

I have an Audi A4 B5 1995 model 1.8ltr (non turbo)

I've got a annoying vibration inside the cabin. Its coming from the front end of the chassis. The vibration is consistent and it never goes away. It's alway there irrelevant of speed I'm travelling. I can feel it through the steering whell and shifter. I took it to the mechanic today and he said it's the muffler, so i took it to a muffler repair shop, they said the muffler and the exhaust system is fine, also the engine mounts seem to be ok so he ruled that out. the mechanic also took my car for a drive and said "everything fine".

(THE VIBRATION IS NOT COMING FROM THE WHEEL BEARING OR TYRES, ITS DEFINATELY FROM THE ENGINE BAY)
I'm assuming because they had no idea how to diagnose the problem that they just were eager to dismiss me and tell me the car was fine, But its not.

I'm pretty close to taking the car to an Audi specialist (50km away), but I thought I'll ask some Audi forumites first.

Thanks in advance.

Genuine Part (OEM)
Left Engine Mount: $118
RightEngine Mount: $137
Transmision Mounts (2) - $77/each:$154
Total: $409 without shipping.

That's the cost for OEM parts(Genuine Audi), not aftermarket parts.

Replace your engine mountings with genuine parts, the vibration should go away. Frstly make sure your engine sump is not sitting directly on some crossmember under the vehicle.
