I wonder if someone could give me an Idea of how to fix this problem.

I have an Audi A4Q '99 2.8
I noticed 2 days ago that my headlights would not turn on, neither the high beam lights when i turn the switch. However, If i just signal with high beam, they do turn on.

I checked all the fuses and they look fine, I checked the light bulbs they are fine too.
If you have had this problem and you have an idea how to fix it, I would really appreciate it,

Providing that the bulbs and the fuses are OK then the most probal thing that has gone worng is the switch somtimes if you push the dial about they start working. To remove the switch push the dial in while in the off position and then turn it as you would to turn the lights on you will then be able to pull the switch unit out.
