Almost sounds like a loose connector issue. Get a set of radio extractor keys (you can get them on eBay for $10). Remove the radio, it literally takes 30 seconds, and check the fuse and any connectors on the back. Make sure all of the connectors AND the individual wire pins on the rear of said connectors are all the way in. I noticed on mine when reinstalling it once, that one of wires/pins popped loose and was poking a little proud of the connector.
