Default Automatic Transmission only engages reverse
Hi guys!
Have a 96' 1.8 A4 with an Automatic transmission, which does not engage any other gear except reverse. Ran a diagnostic, but gave no errors. Not sure whether I can fine-tune the diagnostic with parameters to be more spesific....?

Anyhow, appreciate any input into the matter.

Yup...been driving this one for the past 8 years (has 146k km on the clock).

Then I would look for a loose shift linkage.
Have you ever replaced the ATF and filter?
