Hey I have a 97 audi a4 1.8t auto. I started up my car and tried to back out but when I put it in reverse, and stepped on the gas, the car wouldn't move. After about a week of just sitting on my driveway, I turned the car on again and all the gears were lit and still no reverse. What should I do to solve this problem?

 

You're in limp mode. There are a lot of threads from people with similar problems on the forum. Check your transmission fluid level. This can be more difficult than you think. If you go to the bottom of this page it gives you an idea of what you're looking at. It could also be the multifunction switch that is on the side of the transmission.
