Bad Compression / Good Cylinder Leakdown
Wondering if anyone might be able to point me in the right direction.
I've got a 2010 Audi Q5 3.2L. The car has had a slight misfire the last month or so, so I took it in to have it looked at. Had the fuel injectors replaced and the intake valves were decarbonated but the misfire still occurred. The coil packs have been confirmed to be fine.
Upon additional research it was discovered that the compression test on #5 came in at 160 vs. the normal 190. However, the cylinder leak down test passed with no issues. They scoped the bore and found no scratching, but did observe some discoloration.
I'm not certain whether to spend more on a diagnosis as it could get pretty pricey, looking for some recommendations.

Is the misfire happening under acceleration? Check the spark plugs, if they look "new" they are glazed and will not give enough spark to light the fuel as it is dumped into the cylinder under increased demand. I fought this issue on my A8 for about month and $500 worth of parts (some did need replacing). Went with a new set of plugs and it all smoothed out. A bad O2 sensors was causing a lean condition that was glazing the plugs at random. Had the same issue many years earlier on my older 5000SQ. New plugs fixed it..
