Default Brake discs and pads

Hi

I need an honest opinion on how difficult it is to replace front and rear brake discs and pads on an audi a4 96. I havent ever done any brackes before and i am particuly worried about bleading them afterwards. This always sounded tricky to me. I am not stupid though and i am fairly mechinal minded.

Another question

i have found front discs for £17.50 about $25 sounds very cheap to me. Any opinions

Thanx

You can bring you car to a mechanic for bleeding, if you let air into the lines.

It's actually one of teh easier things you can do on your own car... Assuming you havethe right tools. I'll PM you, a little bit later on in my day (you're 5hours ahead of me, I believe) with a link or two I have to web pages that explains the processes (if I can find them, that is). I actually used the one for my rear pad replacement, this spring, on my D2...

EDIT: Bleeding is a bit more tricky, but still fairly easily doable with the proppa tools

You can do it. Just get a basic manual. Theres no need to bleed the brakes when only changing the pads and discs, although it wouldn't hurt. May as well fix one thing at a time so you know that the brakes and discs solved your braking issues.
