Default Brake sensor issue

Hey Guys....

Hope somebody can help..

My 2000 Audi A4 1.8 SE has it's Brake pad warning symbol (circle in brackets) permanently on. It had new pads and service last year but ever since the warning symbol has never gone off.

I have had the brakes checked and they are fine but the light is still on and the garage were at a loss as to why..

Does anybody know of any faults like this?... Is it a sensor fault?.. Can i disconnect the sensor or this there a secret dash code i can put in to dissable-reset it?...

Cheers

Michael

Thanks for that!

It's in having a service as we speak so if the mechanics are any good then they'll check and top up if neccassary.

Cheers
