Default Brakes for A8

I bought BREMBO crossed drilled and stoltted roters for all four wheels of my 1998 A8, I also bought new pads. I didn't think to order new calipers and want to know if it would make a performance difference. I went with stock size roters.

Well what you've bought is a good start, and the cheapest investment. What pads did you buy? Also keep in mind your slotted/drilled rotors will wear a lot faster than stock and will create a lot more brake dust.

If you are going to invest in new calipers consider a big brake kit (also big money).

If you are having problems w/ brake dust, consider Hawk HPS brake pads, they are virtually dustless and I will never go w/ another brand again. Have had them on my Z for a year, and am getting ready to get some for the A6 b/c I am seeing BRAKE DUST on my new baby [:'(]
