Does anyone know where the cabin filter is located on a 96 A6 Quarrto wagon with a 2.8 v6?

Well not positive cause i've only owned A4's. But Audi usually places them under the passenger side window area. Open the hood and remove the rain shield by the glass. You should see it under there.

 

Thanks Jest, do all models have the cabin filter? I called around and got different answeres.
Some places say yes, some no. I just want to be sure b 4 i spend the $$ for one.

 

data says it doesn't have one on the 1996 model

 

avant, i called audi usa and they say yes, now you say no. see what i mean. not that you are wrong but don't you think audi usa would have the resources to make sure? i said to them that i was getting different answers.

can you send me something stating it does not, i will call audi usa back and really break their *****.

Just remove the rain guard to see if it does or not. Should be very easy.
