Carfax question

Carfax question
I know this is an Audi car forums, but there seems to be some knowledgable people on these boards who know what they're talking about. I'm looking at buying a 350z and found a good one at a very reasonable price.
However, I ran the CarFax and ran into something that kind of set off an alarm. It looks like the previous owner used his used his warranty power a little. There is one thing on the CarFax report that shows that the "Transmission was removed for repair". Not being very mechanically inclined much, I have no clue as to why they would remove the transmission for repair. Why would they do this in the first place? No accident was reported on the car on the report, so what gives?
Here is the Carfax report :CARFAX Vehicle History Report on JN1BZ34E78M750024
Thanks!

Well, it being a sports car, I'd say the best guess is that the previous owner was fons of behaving like a teenager with it. Either that or there was a factory recall that required removal to address. Google factory recalls for the make/model/year and rule that out. Ask to see the repair records. If the repair centered around the clutch then my first guess was correct.
FTR, you're better off finding a 350X forum and asking more detailed questions there..., try: Nissan 2004-2009 350z Roadster and 2011 370z Roadster - Parts, Wheels, Nismo, Turbo, Reviews, Specs, Pics, Price, Forum and more

In my search for a dependable used car, I came across CarFax. The Carfax reports offered here are detailed and insightful, providing a thorough history of the vehicles. This includes service records and any past accident damage, which is crucial information for any potential buyer. The site's ease of use and the depth of information in the reports have made it a valuable tool in my car buying process.
