4EO 035110 A is the number on the CD changer.


So to start off the story...
My CD changer stopped working, it was saying "CD Unreadable" or something similar and went to see a friend who said it was completely done for. I think the CD reader inside of it was buggy and I had to manually take out all of the CDs by opening up the CD changer - was a horrid job.

I then looked on eBay to retrieve a new CD changer.
I bought 1 - the CD skipped every two seconds; radio was fine but CD/MP3 discs skipped every 2 seconds. I sent it back and said it didn't work - got a refund, all good
Bought another, went to pick up today - same issue.

Took a trip to Audi, Service people aren't in till tuesday.

I am swaying towards the software being out of date or something? I'm not sure...

Any help would be appreciated.

I know I'm slightly late here but was this issue ever resolved just did the swap myself and am having the same exact issue

 

Took it to Audi. They did a free software update for me and voilla - works!
