Default Code P1392 and misfire

Hey guys, I've got a '97 A8 230K miles. It's been giving a code P0321 (Crankshaft sensor) for about a month now, yesterday I drove through a 100' long 2+ foot deep snow drift and packed the engine bay with snow. It started misfiring horribly and gave a code P1392 (Cam sensor bank2 shorted to B+). I've checked the sensor and it's getting 12V between pins 1 & 3, what do I need to do next? Would this code automatically cause it to misfire or is it probably that the timing belt may have skipped a tooth? Thanks.
