I have a 2000 Audi A4 2.8 with about 105,--- miles on it. The problem is only when going over bumps at lower speeds the front left wheel makes a knocking noise as if it were not tight. I lifted the car up and the wheels are all tight there is no play in them at all. When I press down on the car there isnt any noises, and this usually only happens on bumpy roads or stones. Any ideas appreciated??

sounds like the control arms need replaced. common on these cars as i had them done on my 98 30v. I would suggest finding a shop who upgrades them with spherical bushings so you never have to worry about them again. or go with this kit http://www.blauparts.com/proddetail....d=M1A1101-01-A. Final piece of advice do it yourself if you can the stealership is gonna charge you almost two grand.
