Dipped headlight patterns
Hi All,
My girlfriend has got a 2005 A4 3.0 Quattro Cabriolet. Since the last MOT the right hand dipped headlight pattern has simply become WRONG! It's as though the headlight has been rotated 90 degrees anticlockwise (looking from the driver's seat), so it lights up the offside verges, dazzles oncoming traffic, and leaves a dark patch on the road in front of the car.
According to the Audi dealer in Exeter (and I quote!) "The glass in the headlight has worn out and you need a new unit". That sounds like complete balderdash to me, and as though someone thinks they have seen her coming. Has anyone got any ideas on this one?
