Default Dis-coloration

Just got my Audi A6 and wondering why there is a slight dis-coloration on both sides of the car near the rear wheel well. Its like a yellow color, no pics yet, but will try to get some in here.

Did you get the history of the car? Maybe it was painted ?

My '00 A6 has the same thing. My car is silver and there's a spot on both sides of the car, just in front of the rear wheel well that always looks dirty. I think it's supposed to be that way because I've noticed the same thing on other Audis.

I found out by doing a search that they are just pieces of plastic that Audi put on to protect from rocks flying up, etc... And you can just remove them with just a hair dryer which I plan on doing cause they are def an eye sore.
