Sorry forgot a subject!!!!

Bigaxle problem and a few questions with it. My drive axle flange (not sure if its exactly the name) SHEARED off the tranny casing from the axle. The axle still has the bearing and all the triple square bolts it just sheared off right at the flange....Now there is a hex bolt in the flange to the tranny (it is big 20mm-30mm guessing) but i dont know what size and if i can just pull out the flange and replace or more serious work needs to be done. If ne one can help that would be much appreciated. I tried everything short of buying a manual. If i can pull the other piece out how much is the flange. i put a magnet on it to see if it was a solid metal to maybe mig it back on but i think it would be too much work. ne ways any help is cool thanx.

 

Its a 17mm. Replacing the flange is easy. It will either clip in place or there will be a bolt that runs thru it to hold it in place. No trans dissasembly involved. Got pictures?

 

ill have pictures soon... i think its bigger than 17mm. Because isnt the hub bolt 17mm? and this one is bigger i think...its blue in color if that helps. but neways ill have pictures hopefully tomarrow. thanx

 

Here is a pic...the blue titanium bolt is 30mm...still havent got it out went to audi to find out how much for the flange axle=360$
