Alright I did some reading in the Bentley bookand noticed the vin decoder section.
So here's whatsconfusing me I have a 2000 TT 1.8T FWD and onmy vin the "engine code" says that my engine's a 1.8L 4-cyl, 180 HP (2001-2006 m.y.) now it also says that my model year is from 2000.
So this's my take on it, I have a 2000 TT with a 2001 engine, am I right?
All this time I thought I couldn't get certain upgrades for my car because it was from 2000. Does this mean i can get items for an engine thats from a 2001.

the 180hp engine is the same from 2000 to 2004 its the engine number/code that's important AUQ and so on

 

Alright that makes sense. your talking about code as in ATC, AMU... I had a feeling I was over thinking it. I'll stick to my original plans for my car now.
