Default Engine noise in A4 cabriolet

[sm=smiley27.gif]Hi guys! I'm a lady with a new '06 A4 cabriolet with 700 miles (400 are mine.) I'm looking for some advice from those with a bit more car experience than me. Took the car to the dealer a week ago to diagnose and resolve a loud engine noise. They replaced the tensioner for the serpentine belt, but with no resolution of the noise. Service man told me they want to bring in a regional expert technician, but after a week still no action and my new car sits in the dealer's lot. Today I was told they may know if someone can be scheduled to look at the car in another 4 days. The lack of attention and apparent disinterest in expeditiously addressing the issue leaves me to think I should return the car for a complete refund. I'd welcome your thoughts and any tacticsI could deploy to make things right.

Audi vehicles are very complex and most times when you take it to the dealer it takes several days to find out exactly whats wrong with it. Not to mention a lot of the mechanics that work on them aren't always the smartest people out there and have to call in the regional guy which can take weeks.
I would give it a little while and let the regional manager do his magic and fix the problem for you because your never gonna find a better put together car than an audi.
