Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum. I recently just bought a 1996 A4 2.8 and when I was trying to get it smogged the check engine light came on throwing out the code P1109, which has something to do with the O2 sensor. My question is how many O2 sensors are on the car and how much will it cost, if I wanna change it myself? Thanks again!

 

pretty sure there are two, one before and one after the catalytic converters, try searching for a diy on replacement of them, also, if you post this in the a4 section, you will get a lot mroe responses cuz there are a lot of people in there... good luck
