Fans don't run temp gauge never moves but the car is hot as hell
I have a 07 Audi A4 B7 2.0t fsi so I do deliveries on a daily basis but this starts way early I'll drive down the freeway 25 miles and the passenger compartment feels on fire so does the engine compartment the gauge doesn't budge off dead center for hours I've replaced the cts and the water pump has been redone along with a new radiator it seems the fans aren't running there's no engine codes coming from anywhere but there's coolant blowoff residue all over the engine compartment

Same issue on my A3
Hi Garry,
I recently had the same issue on my A3, turned out that the issue was with the fan controller unit, once i replaced that the fans came on again and temps dropped back to normal.
Not sure on what my temp gauge did seeing as that has been dead for a while, i believe it is the sensor that's dead. But the fan controller unit was definitely my issue.
