I recently purchased a new '14 Q5 TDI to learn that there is no tracking system on board that would alert authorities in case of an airbag deployment or any other SOS situation. The vehicle also doesn't have any button for road side assist. Cars that cost 1/3 of what I paid have basic SOS, roadside assist, info. buttons. My recent searches also have yielded next to nothing and this just sort of seems acceptable. I personally find it appalling that a luxury car maker would fail to provide it's consumers with no automated emergency help and tracking.
