I just purchased an A4, 1.8, Conv. -- trying to program the garage door opener that is on the visor - it seems to take the code from the handheld transmitter - but when pushed doesn't open the garage door. Any suggestion? thanks - love the car!

 

This may sound a little too obvious, but I dont want to assume anything....Is the key in the ignition and power is on to the car?

 

yes, ignition on, key in, lights blinked 3 times -- looks like a signal is going to the garage door opener but not opening the door
