grunt noise from brakes

Default grunt noise from brakes

my 2005 s4 cab. auto trans produces a grunt noise from the brakes everytime car comes to a full stop, and when the brake petal is released from a being stopped. Any advise?

the brakes are just very grabby....its not really a problem as it is a nuissance. if it bothers you that much you can try to have the rotors resurfaced and/or replace the pads. if you drive spiritedly...is that a word? you could polish up your rotors and have heat marks. the brakes will be a bit more 'grabby' like this. a cleaner/smoother mating surface will fix it up. but if you continue to drive like you do....it'll happen again

Thanks,the car is still under warranty, do you know if this will be covered by audi.

Keep in mind the brakes are vacuum-boosted. There's a chance you have a slight vacuum leak and you're hearing a "fart" when you hit or release the brakes. It's a slight chance but keep it in the back of your mind.
