hi my battery recently died and i couldnt start my car in any way .. the only option i had was to roll it down my hill and drop the clutch. it started after that but now my head unit wont turn on and the lights from it dont even work when i turn my headlights on at night????!! PLS HELP

 

charge or replace the battery, then remove the battery for 10 min. Reattach battery cables and see if this fixes your problem.

do you have any check engine codes?

 

Also have you check to see if the fuse is out?

 

no check engine light.. cant find the fuse for it

2001 audi a4 2.8l 30valve quattro

 

are any of the gauges working on the head unit, or are just the lights not working?
sorry for all the questions, just making sure I understand the situation.

 

lights dont glow on the head unit if thats what youre asking .. i believe it does make a little noise when i turn on the car but then it stops .. seems like the cd moves a little inside
