Hi,

I have an X reg TT with a really annoying "feature" that I would like to disbable.

The dipped beam is always on when I start the car, the switch does nothing (except operate the fogs). I have unplugged the cables from the back of the switch and the lights remain on so I guess tha rules out a faulty switch.
When I remove the key from the ignition, the lights stay on for around 5 seconds then switch off.

I read in the owners manual that this feature is enable on some export cars (mine is a German export). Is there any way to disable this via VAGCOM? I not, what would be a manual fix for this?
