After purchasing my 1999 Audi A3 T Sport 4 weeks ago , I have noticed rust on the roof channels, im horrified as I though these were fully galvanised!!
Apparently there is a 12 year warranty on this so I wonder if this is covered!
Has anyone else had this problem??

 

is there evidence of a roof rack being used which could have damaged the paintwork (galvanised doesn't mean it cant/wont rust) if damage isn't sorted asap, if no roof rack been used then you have a case so good luck
