Hi Im new to this forum and woould be grateful if anyone can help me with a problem.

The tilt slide mechanism on the passengers seat isn't working correctly,
when i lift the handle and tilt the seat forward there doesnt seem to be enough tension on the cable to release the catch to enable to the seat to slide.

Is there anyway of adjusting or tensioning this cable easily or will a trip to the garage be required, not sure if cable is loose or snapped inside??

Any help would be much appreciated

I have the same problem.

From what I can gather it's a common fault. Anyone know if it's fixable by the average home mechanic?
