I have a 95 Audi 90 and the oil pump is leaking. I have removed all of the belts but need to remove the timing sprocket from the crankshaft. How does it come off? Do I need a gear puller or does the center bolt come out? I just dont get it. It won't budge no matter what.

i have a 95 audi 90 and im down to the crank sprocket, need to replace front crank seal. i rented a harmonic balancer to try and pull it off, but as you said, it WONT budge. wondering what info you got from your phonecall...
