Default I really need help guys!

Hello everyone!

I have a GT Coupe (1982) and the problem is this. She starts first time even when it's really cold and drives well. However when it warms up, the engine starts juddering and the revs drop until eventually it stalls. It's an auto so should always have the revs around 1000 rpm but as I say- when it warms up it just keeps dropping to about 500 then back to a 1000 then back down thenstalls. I had the bonnet up while it was doing it and the whole engine was wobbling like mad- so Iturned her off.

What's wrong with it?

Please help me!

possibly 2 things idle control valve needs cleaning out and check the pipes from it for splits air/vacuum leaks, second is the coolant temp sensor ( is it the 5 cylinder 20v ) if yes then also check the oil dip stick is secure ( it has an O ring to seal it in ) if its loose it effects the idle

Idle control valve.... Ok that doesn't sound that bad- is it bad? And where is it? I dont know where my Haynes manual has gone.

I can do the oil thing. (it is the 5cyl) Plus where is the coolant sensor?

Thanks for you help on this!
